In  the 3rd quarter of 2014,  AQSIQ carried out market surveillance of children’s furniture and 29 other products, this related to electronics and electrical appliances, light industrial products, building and decoration materials, machinery products and security products, electrical and materials, the result being that out of a total of 2,318 manufacturers and 2354 batches of products, 292 batches of substandard goods were discovered, the substandard product rate was found to be 12.4%.
