In this report, we bring together information on mandatory and voluntary consumer product recalls originated from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, which are issued by governmental bodies from Europe, USA and Canada. For businesses, notably for product manufacturers, this report aims to enable them to move more swiftly to address a safety problem, thereby reducing the number of incidents causing injury, and the costs associated with them. This could lower the risks, which could, in turn, lower insurance costs for producers.
