In April, the general office of the State Council issued the Action Plan for Implementation of the Quality Development Outline in 2016 (the plan). The plan proposes that major efforts shall be devoted to improving quality and focus on consumer goods that consumers are generally concerned about, like infant’s and children’s wear.
In April, Administrations for industry and commerce and the bureau of quality and technical supervision issued the results of feather & down garments, cashmere & wool products, children’s wear, casual wear, home wear, bedding, leather products, bags and footwear quality supervision. This spot check was conducted according to GB 18401-2010 national general safety technical code for textile products, GB 5296.4-2012 instruction for use of products of consumer interest-Part 4: Textile and apparel’ , GB 21550-2008 restriction of hazardous materials in polyvinyl chloride artificial leather, GB 20400-2006 leather and fur limit of harmful matter and nominal product standards.
