European Union

The EU RAPEX systems notified 32 cases of which 84% were because of the risk of strangulation or other injury.

27 children’s clothes  do not comply with drawstring regulation.

1 children’s shoe was recalled because the small pompoms can easily detach.

In Chemical risks,

3 Gloves were recalled because they contain Chromium VI, and may trigger allergic reactions;

1 T-shirt was recalled because the product contains azo-dyes releasing the aromatic amine 3,3′-dimethoxybenzidine (measured concentration 93 mg/kg), therefore not complying with the REACH Regulation.

United States

One Children’s Pajamas was recalled due to Violation of the Federal Flammability Standard. These girls’ pajamas sets pose a risk of burn injuries.

Canada

One children’s outwear as recalled. Because the drawstrings on the upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.
