Children’s Day (in China) is fast approaching and parents are busy buying gifts for their children. Parents should pay attention to potential quality problems and dangers that are belied by their cute appearance. In order to regulate the market for children’s products and protect the physical and mental health of children, administrations for industry and commerce, and the bureau of quality and technical supervision carry out special operations to improve the market environment.
In May, administrations for industry and commerce, and the bureau of quality and technical supervision issued the results of children’s; clothing, footwear, home ware, adult clothing, embroidered hats, and rubber gloves. This spot check was conducted according to GB 18401-2010 National general safety technical code for textile products , GB 5296.4-2012 Instruction for use of products of consumer interest-Part 4: Textile and apparel and nominal product standards.
