The revised draft Regulations Amending the Prohibition of Certain Toxic Substances Regulations 2012 was published in the Canada Gazette on the 4th of April 2015. Interested parties are invited to comment on a proposal to include 5 new substances in the toxic substances list. Information has been provided by the Chemicals Management Division of Canada that the proposed amendment regulation it is anticipated that the final version of these regulations will be published in the Canada Gazette Part II in 2016 and that the regulations will enter into force approximately 3 months following this publication.
