On the 11th of November,ECHA updated SVHC requirements for manufacturers. This data provides examples of products containing SVHCs. The data is based both on the notifications that companies have submitted to ECHA as well as on the information contained in the registration dossiers. ECHA will update the data every six months.
Notification
The data is based on notifications and registrations received before 23rd of September 2014 for substances that were included in the List on 16th of December 2013 and earlier. There are 328 notifications for 36 SVHC substances. The six most frequently notified substances are listed in the table below.

Notification Obligation
Producers and importers of products containing any of the substances included in the List shall notify ECHA if both of the following conditions apply:
- The substance is present in those articles in quantities totalling over one tonne per producer or exporter per year, and
- The substance is present in those articles above a concentration of 0.1% weight by weight.
CTI Suggestion
It is possible that there were other products containing Candidate List substances other than those mentioned in the data. Furthermore, also other substances other than those so far notified may be present in articles on the EU market. Companies are advised to conduct a supply chain survey in order to meet the notification obligation, and to make a notification the conditions are met.
