EUROPEAN COMMISSION HAS NOTIFIED THE ROHS 2.0 DRAFT DIRECTIVE TO WTO

The European Commission has passed the RoHS 2.0 draft directive to the WTO on 17 December 2014. This draft Commission Delegated Directive concerns the addition of four phthalates to the list of restricted substances under RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU), including Bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), Benzyl butyl phthalate ( BBP) , Di-butyl phthalate (DBP) and Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP).
